We must protect this house!

I've had September 13th marked on my calendar ever since we scheduled this game, right around the same time Ohio State penciled in Youngstown State for their 2008 opener. I am fired up! This is what it's all about, juggernauts meeting in prime time on a Saturday night in front of millions of viewers. It will be magical later when #1 USC charges out of the tunnel to take the field against the Buckeyes. I will be there and I cant' wait. Now to the Saturday picks:

USC -11.5 over ohio st - Fool me once shame on you, fool me seven times, shame on Pete Vegas. In the last seven games versus Little 10 opponents, USC is 7-0, and has won all seven of those games by double digits. I always look for any reason to play underdogs, but I can't find any here. It seems like Ohio St has already conceded this game to USC. Are they playing possum, or do they know they are going to get steam rolled? Seems like the latter. USC is too fast, too strong, too talented, and lives for games like this. TROJANS BIG. 44-7

WASH +21.5 over oklahoma - U Dub is close, and after last week's horrific call against BYU, I think the Huskies will come out with a chip on their shoulders. I'm not sure about a win against the Sooners, but I'm taking those 21.5 like it's easy.

SOUTH CAR +7 over georgia - I love home teams getting a touchdown, especially The ol' ball coach. I like the 'Cocks on the square. (insert your own joke)

NOTRE DAME +2 over michigan - This is a huge game for Notre Dame, and I like the Irish to beat Michigan in an ugly, low scoring game played between the 40's. I'm thinking 14-6 Notre Dame.
